Apps for Your Students

A List of Apps. That Will Be Explored

Make learning more accessible with apps that help people with visual and hearing challenges and different learning styles connect with the world in new ways. Click HERE to link to the list of Apps. which will be explored by students.
Today, kids have grown up digital. They have had access to a world of new possibilities; some good, some not so good. We believe it is the responsibility of parents, teachers and other adult mentors to join kids on the digital playground and to teach them to be happy and healthy cyber-citizens. With the advent of cyber-bullying and all of its far reaching consequences, we can no longer afford to wait idly by while emotional damage is done. We speak to groups all over the country and share all that we learn and continue to learn, to help you plow this ever-changing ground.  One of our biggest goals is to provide you with new resources, links and tips to help simplify your job as mentors of 21st century children.

Partnering4Students Website

The "Tool Kit for Systems Involved In Education of Students In Out-of-Home Care" was developed to assist the primary systems involved in the education of children and youth in out-of-home placements. The Systems Tool Kit includes a series of Frequently Asked Questions and other resource materials on a variety of topics related to systems collaboration, the child welfare system, juvenile justice and criminal justice systems, elementary and secondary education, post-secondary education and employment, and diverse student populations. In addition to promoting a common understanding and knowledge of those topics, it is hoped the Systems Tool Kit will be used by members of the primary systems to advocate for and improve academic and vocational outcomes for students in out-of-home care.
